Kudzu Root

The root of the quick-growing kudzu vine is dug up and processed into kudzu powder which serves as a substitute for animal-based gelatins in Far Eastern desserts. It also is believed to exhibit healing properties, and can be found in most Hingan and Doman apothecaries.
